AIR FLIGHTSThere are no direct flights to Northern Cyprus at present. That means you will either fly to Ercan Airport (also known as Nicosia or Lefkosa Airport) via Turkey (remain on same plane for about 45-60 minutes on runway before taking off again) or fly to Larnaca or Paphos in South Cyprus. For Turkish Airlines, you would change planes in Istanbul.
Ercan Airport is about a 40-45 minutes taxi transfer to the villa and Larnaca Airport is about a 60-70 minutes transfer via the Beyarmudu border crossing. If the time taken on the Turkish stop is taken into consideration, there is very little difference in the time it takes from the UK to the villa either via Ercan or Larnaca. Taxi transfer time from Paphos is about 2 hours.
For those flying to Larnaca or Paphos, it should be noted that holders of EU passports will have no difficulty in crossing the border from south to north and return. All other passport holders should check whether they are able to enter North Cyprus from the south. Otherwise they may need to fly to Ercan Airport (North Cyprus) via Turkey.
