About the Owners

Owners, Jon & Helen Davis, are a professional couple living in the south of England. They have two children and therefore know the difficulties in taking young children abroad. They have therefore ensured guests with babies or toddlers have access to a high level of suitable equipment, ensuring that the villa contains many safety features. They equally wish to cater for adults-only visitors and therefore equipment for children is largely out of sight. Jon's parents, especially, have extensive knowledge of Northern Cyprus, and in particular the Kyrenia region, having stayed in the area many times over the last 30 years, and have provided much input into the local and island facilities mentioned on this website.

Why this location?

Esentepe is a relatively quiet area set in the foothills of the beautiful Besparmak mountain range, topped with pine trees. It is far enough away from the bustle of Kyrenia - with its pretty harbour - but close enough to enjoy all that Kyrenia has to offer when required. Esentepe village is quaint and largely unspoilt, and is often described as the gateway to the beautiful but more remote Karpas peninsular. A new but largely deserted highway allows much easier access to the Karpas than hitherto.
